About Us

We fix broken items across Telford to reduce waste and share skills.

Welcome to our repair café, a community initiative established in 2019 with a mission to reduce waste and empower individuals with repair skills. Our dedicated team of volunteers are passionate about fixing items and promoting a culture of sustainability in Telford. 

  • We fix items for small, pay-what-you-can donations.
  • We’re a group of local volunteers, you’re welcome to join us.
  • We operate in community centres across Telford & Wrekin.
  • We're open on the last Saturday of every month, 10:00 - 13:00.

How to get started?

Find a repair café near you. You do not need to book your visit with us, simply turn up.

Prepare for your visit by reading our house rules, contact us if you have any questions.

What items can we repair?

General repair

Unsure why your item is not working? We PAT test items and keep a lookout for common faults like blown fuses and loose wires.

Clothing & textiles

From torn seams to damaged fabrics, we’ll restore your clothing and ensuring you’re wearing your favourite outfits for longer.

Tech & electronics

Bring your electronics to us for repair, we’ll assess the damage, help you find what parts to order, and fix the device for you.

Appliances

We’ll repair small appliances that you can carry to our repair cafes (e.g, kettles). We do not offer repairs for large appliances.

Toys & ornaments

We fix all sorts of toys, including battery powered items and teddies. You can also bring ornaments, figurines, and vases.

Jewellery

Bring your broken jewellery to us, we can replace clasps, add links, and other essential jewellery repairs.
