We’re the Telford Repair Café, a group of volunteers based in Telford, Shropshire. We host a repair café on the last Saturday of every month to reduce waste by repairing broken items. Each month, we travel to different community centres across Telford.

We're on a mission to reduce waste. How? By breathing new life into items you may have considered throwing or replacing. Our volunteers are here to repair your belongings, saving them from becoming waste.

Sharing skills

The right to repair

We advocate for consumers' right to repair. The right to repair movement aims to counter the trend of manufacturers making it difficult for people to fix electronics, appliances, and other products.

Supporting communities

Our repair cafe travels to different communities across Telford. We host our event at local community centres to unite people for a day of repairs. If you have no items for repair, visit us for some tea and cake.

Cost of living support

Our services are provided free of charge, but we do accept "pay-what-you-can" donations. We want to support you however we can! If you can't afford to replace or repair your item, we'll fix it for free.

Promoting sustainability

By taking conscious actions to repair, repurpose, and extend the lifespan of our belongings, we can reduce our environmental footprint. We encourage people to make a difference by fixing instead of throwing.
