Don’t bin it, stop loving it or wearing it.

Instead, bring it to Telford Repair Café so one of our volunteers can repair it

About the
Telford Repair Café

We are part of an international Repair Café movement that started in the Netherlands in 2009 to fight climate change by joining communities together to repair things to prevent waste. Today, there are more than 1,500 Repair Cafes worldwide.

Repair Café – Lawley

Promoting sustainable and cost-effective methods of fixing your old items. In July 2022, The Repair Cafe will be at Lawley

Our Values

Reducing waste

Repair Cafés are free meeting places that are all about repairing things rather than throwing them away. Repairing instead of manufacturing new products reduces CO2 emissions.

Sharing skills

Visitors bring their broken items from home and are invited to sit with volunteers while they fix them and show them how to do it. So valuable practical knowledge is getting passed on.

Bringing communities together

Repair Cafés bring communities together. People with nothing to repair can pop along to enjoy the company, a cuppa or help with someone else’s repair.
